That “In Between” Feeling
There’s also something else that comes with this time of year —
that slightly off, heavy, sometimes sluggish feeling.
Like your body is waking up… but not fully there yet.
In Ayurveda, this shift is tied to the changing of seasons —
moving out of Vata (dry, cold, airy energy of winter)
and into Kapha (heavier, slower, more grounded energy of spring).
And right in between those two…
there’s this transition space.
That in-between moment where nothing feels fully settled.
You might feel:

more tired than usual

unmotivated or foggy
-
heavier in your body
-
or just slightly out of rhythm
And honestly — that makes sense.
Because whether we realize it or not,
we are still deeply connected to nature.
Even in a world full of noise, schedules, and constant stimulation…
our bodies are still responding to light, temperature, and seasonal change.
We’re not separate from it.
We just don’t always slow down enough to notice..
